Welcome
Influencing public policy is a top priority for the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC).
As a recognized leader and principal voice for public policy issues affecting Dallas region businesses, the DRC rigorously supports business-friendly laws and regulations that allow companies to grow and prosper and a tax environment which encourages corporate moves to North Texas.
On issues that matter most to businesses, the Chamber will clearly and assertively promote its agenda before the Dallas City Council, Dallas County Commissioners Court, Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees, Texas Legislature, and U.S. Congress.
The Public Policy Center provides members with an abundance of resources and information on:
- Current public policy issues
- Texas Legislature and legislative process
- Ways in which members can support DRC initiatives
- Identifying local, state and federal elected and appointed officials
- Getting involved with Chamber committees and councils
- Public Policy team members
Success achieved by the Chamber on public policy issues is in many ways dependent on the advocacy efforts and involvement of its members.
Utilize the Public Policy Center website page when seeking information on any of the topics listed above.
